Digby RCMP investiga­ting fatal motor veh­icle crash

This evening at 7:20 p.m., Digby RCMP, EHS and Fire Dept res­ponded to a single vehicle crash on High­way 217 in Rossway, Digby County where a vehicle had gone off the roadway and st­ruck a tree.  The fe­male driver was pron­ounced deceased at the scene.  RCMP are continuing to invest­igate the crash with the assistance of a collision re-constr­uctionist.
Traffic flow on High­way 217 between Timp­any Lane and Gullive­rs Cove Road is redu­ced to one lane at this time
