Disturbance call leads RCMP to recovery of a stolen vehicle, Beaver Bank, N.S.

While investigating a disturbance call, Halifax District RCMP arrested two youths and recovered a stolen vehicle. On Wednesday, September 3rd at 1:15 p.m. Lower Sackville RCMP responded to a report of two males fighting near a seniors complex in Beaver Bank.

While investigating a disturbance call, Halifax District RCMP arrested two youths and recovered a stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, September 3rd at 1:15 p.m. Lower Sackville RCMP responded to a report of two males fighting near a seniors complex in Beaver Bank.

During the preliminary investigation attending officers identified the two males as being suspects in an earlier report of a stolen vehicle from the area. The males were arrested and taken into custody for causing a disturbance. Further investigation led police to a series of wooded trails in the Beaver Bank area where they discovered a 2013 Toyota Rav 4, stuck in a pool of mud. The vehicle was reported stolen on August 31st, 2014.

The youths were released from police custody and charges are pending in relation to Possession of Stolen Property.
