Do you have photos or videos of the Inverary Resort fire?

Investigators from Victoria District RCMP who are attempting to determine the circumstances that led to the fire at the Inverary Resort are asking for help from the public.

Police are asking anyone who has photos or videos of the fire, particularly in its early stages, between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., if they could share them with the investigators.

“Small details that show up in photos or videos might provide valuable information to our investigators,” says S/Sgt. Darren Waidson, Detachment Commander of Victoria District RCMP. “We’re hoping people will share their photos and videos with us, which might give us a better chance of finding out how this devastating fire started.”

Anyone with photos or videos is asked to send them to Cpl. Gavin Naime at Gavin.Naime@rcmp-grc,.gc,ca. Victoria District RCMP is working with the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal to determine the cause of the fire, which occurred in the early morning hours of June 7. The investigation is ongoing.
