Cumberland County District RCMP and the Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) charged a Pugwash doctor following a sexual assault investigation.

Tim Fashoranti, 63, of Pugwash has been charged with Sexual Assault. He was arrested on November 10 without incident and was later released from custody on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on January 11, 2021.

Investigators feel that due to the nature of the accused’s position in the community, there may be additional victims. Anyone who feels they could be a victim, or has concerns about someone else who could be a victim, is encouraged to contact police.
