Missing Woman – Police Seek Public’s Help

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth woman.

Forty-five-year-old Donna Lee Sweeny has not been seen since noon yesterday, February 3. She left her Second Street residence on foot to go visit a friend on Lakecrest Drive but never arrived. Donna is a white woman, 5’6”, 180 lbs, brown eyes, short black hair and wears black rimmed glasses. She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket and beige boots.

There is no information to suggest that Donna has met with foul play. She however suffers from a medical condition and requires daily medication and it is out of character for her to be out of contact with friends and family. Officers request that Donna or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls police at 490-5020.
