So I have been noticing this weekend too many of my friends are being sucked into posting about copyright on Facebook again..commonsense should tell you it aint so. but before you send it out and share with all your friends how about doing yourself a favor and check the facts.

If you really want to know how Facebook work read this post from Consumer Reports.

Facebook tracks everything you do while on the site and even off the site. You can read this from Digital Trends.

Rules for safe Facebook Play:

1. Don’t overshare. When you right about an illness or money matters you do put yourself and whoever you right about at a permanent risk.

2. Check your settings- know your privacy settings. As I surf many a friends page I am surprised that many have them set so all the world can see.

3. Check your app settings.

4. You do not have to share your wall with all your friends, you can limit your posts..you can be selective.

My biggest suggestion use some common sense!
