Downtown Dartmouth Esso robbed

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier tonight in Dartmouth.

Shortly after 8 p.m. police responded to a robbery in progress at the Esso gas station located at 174 Ochterloney Street. A man entered the store, threatened staff and demanded money. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot on Prince Albert Road towards Portland Street. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his thirties, 6′ tall, 180 lbs; he was last seen wearing a grey jacket with a yellow shirt underneath, black jogging pants, a black toque and white sneakers.
