It’s back and bigger than ever! The Downtown Dartmouth Ice Festival presented by East Coast Credit Union.

Save the dates for an action-packed weekend of fun with LIVE ICE CARVING, horse-drawn wagon rides, campfire song circles, bouncy castles, ice princess visits and much more! ALL FREE!

Food and drink specials at all your favourite downtown Dartmouth eateries, breweries, cideries and cafes are coming soon.

Here’s a schedule of events:

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2020
8 p.m. Dartmouth Players presents “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare, directed by Joanne Arbuthnott at the Sawmill Playhouse, 33 Crichton Avenue. Doors open 7 p.m. Showtime 8 p.m. Tickets $17/$14 For tickets: www.ticketpro.ca

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2020
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alderney Landing Farmers’ Market with additional Ice Festival fun www.alderneylanding.com/market/
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Live Ice Carving on Portland Street (see map) and at East Coast Credit Union, 155 Ochterloney Street FREE
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Kids can visit our INDOOR Wonderland Bounce Zone at Alderney Landing Theatre FREE
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Ice Princess visits and photo ops at the entrance to the INDOOR Wonderland, Alderney Landing Theatre Rotunda FREE
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Horse-drawn wagon rides. Loading area at East Coast Credit Union, 155 Ochterloney Street, rear entrance.
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Live music around the campfire at 3 locations
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free Skating Party with the Ice Princesses hosted by District 5 Councillor Sam Austin, Zatzman Sportsplex
