Driver charged with stunting for the second time

On May 20, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a member of Windsor District RCMP was monitoring traffic on Hwy. 215, when he noted a vehicle travelling at 118 km/hr in a posted 60 km/hr zone. There were pedestrians in the area. The police officer stopped the vehicle, and was told by the driver that he had recently been charged with stunting. The driver showed the police officer the ticket he received.  

The 25-year-old male driver from Dartmouth was charged with Stunting under the Provincial Motor Vehicle Act. The vehicle was seized and impounded. The fine for stunting (second offence) in Nova Scotia is $5,872.50. He is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on July 24.
