At 7pm, east patrol members responded to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Portland St at Highway 111 Dartmouth. The adult male driver of the car attempted to turn left from Portland Street to Highway 111 (northbound), when he struck an adult female cyclists travelling westbound on Portland Street. The cyclists was taken by ambulance to hospital with minor injuries. The motorist was charged with Failing to Yield the Right of way under the Motor Vehicle Act.
