Driver Ticketed After Pedestrian Hit

A 25 year old male was struck in a crosswalk at Bayers & Windsor last night.

From Halifax Police:

 

“At 2123 hours police attended the intersection of Windsor and Young Street in relation to a MVA involving a pedestrian. The 25 year old male pedestrian was struck crossing Bayers Road at Windsor by a vehicle driven by a 29 female, who was turning left.  The female driver has been issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The victim suffered non life threatening injuries to his head.”
