At 1045 am, a pedestrian motor vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Main Ave and Mandeville Crt.in Halifax. A 79 year old woman was crossing Main Ave. at Mandeville Crt when she was struck by a car. The 19 year old female driver remained at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by EHS, with non-life threatening injuries, a broken ankle. The driver has been issued a Summary Offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
