Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred this morning in the 1900-block of Barrington Street in Halifax.
At approximately 9:28 a.m. this morning, a vehicle travelling southbound on Barrington Street, just past Duke Street, struck a male pedestrian who was crossing Barrington Street in a marked crosswalk. The man was transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 63-year-old male driver was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
