The RCMP announced a significant drug enforcement operation on Monday in the Montague Road area.
From the press release:
“Monday, November 10, 2008 Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S…. Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Halifax District Street Crime Enforcement Unit with assistance from the HRM Integrated Drug Unit search a residence on Vaughan Lane, this afternoon at 1:30 PM.
During the search Police seized two and half pounds of marihuana, two ounces of hash, a large amount of Canadian Currency and other drug paraphernalia. Arrested were two females aged 52 and 21, as well as a 21-year-old male who was arrested in his vehicle prior to the search away from the residence. All three were released to appear in Nova Scotia Provincial Court in Dartmouth, N.S. on January 7, 2009 for charges of Possession for the Purpose.”
