Drug charges against Waterville man

The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, in partnership with the Kentville Police Service, has charged a Waterville man with drug offences.

On May 19, 2022, Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (VISCEU), with assistance from the Kentville Police Service General Investigation Section (GIS), Kings District RCMP, Kings District RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) and the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia, executed a search warrant at a home on Mill St. in Waterville.

A 48-year-old Waterville man was safely arrested at the home and during the search, police seized cocaine, prescription pills, scales, a cellular phone and drug paraphernalia.

Hartley Coleman, 48, of Waterville, has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • Possession of Prescription Pills for the Purpose of Trafficking

Coleman was remanded into custody and will appear in Kentville Provincial Court June 7, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
