A woman faces a drug-related charge as a result of a drug search last week in Halifax.
On June 14, at 10:55 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Guns and Gang Unit conducted a search of a residence on Aukland Place. Officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. A woman was arrested at the scene without incident.
A forty-year-old Halifax woman was released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on July 30. She faces a charge of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Drug activity often involves violence that puts innocent citizens at risk and is detrimental to the overall safety of our communities.
