Drug search leads to charges – Halifax

Four men and one woman face charges as a result of a drug search early this morning in Halifax.

Just before 5 a.m., members of the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with assistance from the HRP Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 5600 block of Ogilvie Street. As a result of the search, quantities of cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia were seized. Five people were arrested inside the apartment.

Raheem Munroe, 25, Morgan Harrington, 23, Makayle Skinner, 22, Kristen Hendsbee, 21, and Jessiah Elliot-Sisco, 18, have all been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Harrington faces additional charges of breaching a court order (recognizance).

All appeared in Halifax Provincial Court this afternoon.
