A Dartmouth man faces charges as a result of a drug search executed yesterday afternoon in Dartmouth.
At 1:30 p.m. on December 7, members of the East Quick Response Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, executed a search warrant in the 0-100 block of Elmwood Drive. As a result of the search, a quantity of crack cocaine, pills, marihuana, cash and scales were seized. Officers arrested a 55-year-old Dartmouth man without incident during the search.
The man faces a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on January 18, 2017 to answer to the charges.
