Four men and a woman face charges as a result of a drug search executed Friday night in Halifax.
At 8:15 p.m. on May 20, members of the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division with the assistance of the West Quick Response Unit executed a search warrant in a unit at an apartment building in the 1300-block of South Park Street. As a result of the search, a quantity of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia and cash was seized. Officers arrested four men and a woman without incident during the search.
A 32-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, all of Halifax, each face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana. They were all released and are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial court on June 28.
