HRM Release:
(Monday, August 30, 2010) – As part of Halifax Water's on-going water main sliplining project, landscaping will get underway tomorrow on Dunbrack St. from just north of Farnham Gate Rd., to just south of Kearney Lake Rd. This work is scheduled for 2 days.
This landscape work will take place in the existing work zone in the outbound lane of Dunbrack St., on HRM property. There are no biosolids being used in this project. Biosolids are not being used for landscaping on HRM owned property until Regional Council receives and deliberates on a staff report on the subject.
Motorists are asked to use caution when driving through the work area and are reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
