Halifax District RCMP wish to advise citizens that the evacuation order on Dyke Rd has been lifted.

As a result of interagency cooperation over the last two days, emergency responders and chemists have worked diligently to identify and safely seal or remove any hazardous and volatile chemicals from the scene. There is no threat to public safety at the Dyke Rd. scene.

Police would once again like to thank citizens for their cooperation.
