Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax early this morning.
At approximately 4:15 a.m. police received a report that a robbery had occurred at the Circle K convenience store located at 389 Bedford Highway. A man entered the store, demanded money and then fled on foot with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, approximately 5’5” tall and a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket with a hood, a face mask and was carrying a green shopping bag.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
