Photos: Early Morning Fire At Cole Harbour Restaurant

Just before 2am, fire crews were dispatched to the Dairy Queen on Cole Harbour Road.

They encountered a localized fire and were able to knock the initial fire out, however concern was for hot spots and the possibility of the fire to be moving through the roof, walls and electrical.  Power crews were called to disable electricity to the building and fire crews spent cautious time checking for flare ups and hot spots.  The cause was not known at the time, however a heavy smell of burning electric was easily detected in the air.

Crews spent time checking adjoining businesses, walls and roofs of the building.
