Early morning shooting in Cole Harbour leaves man wounded

The RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a shooting in Cole Harbour and is appealing for information from the public. 

On November 13, at approximately 3:45 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and EHS, responded to an injured man in the parking lot of a store in the 0-100 block of Forest Hills Pkwy.

When officers arrived, the man told them he had been shot. The officers provided first aid until EHS arrived and transported the 31-year-old man of Cole Harbour to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other injuries have been reported.  It is believed this was not a random act and there is no risk to public safety at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing and being led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section.
