At approximately 03:10 AM this morning, police received a call of possible gunshots. Officers arrived
on scene in the area of Catherine Street and Lahey Road in Dartmouth, and located evidence of a
shooting.

One person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Members of the Integrated General Investigation unit, and the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating the matter.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when
available.
