UPDATE: The suspect in this event is now being charged with attempted murder.
A man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in an altercation this morning in Halifax.
From Halifax Police:
“At 1:19 AM police responded to this address in response to a call of a stabbing. Upon arrival a twenty year old male was at this location suffering from several stab wounds. He was removed to the hospital by EHS and remains there is stable condition. The preliminary investigation shows that the victim got into a fight with the suspect . The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect is known to police and efforts are in place to arrest this person. The matter remains under investigation.”
Update On Sunday Nov 3:
“At appx 1900 hrs 081101 a 30 yrs old male was taken into custody in the relation to this matter. He is being held for court on Monday morning and will be answering to the charge of attempt murder. The victim in this matter received a number of wounds from a knife.”
