Every once in a while a nicely packaged, sweetly scented product from the drug store gets the best of me and I end up bringing home something I almost always regret – a chemically laden body product that leaves my kids in a bumpy, rashy, irritated state. The last product I brought home with me, without looking at the ingredients list, left my little guy with puffy, red, watery eyes for two days after putting the “natural, soothing, oatmeal moisturizer” on his face before bed. I got lazy and bored with the same brand I usually buy so grabbed another that I recognized to be somewhat natural and no surprise was left with an adverse reaction.

I have really been enjoying facial oils for the past year or so. As I approach 30, I’m noticing a lot of changes in my skin all over but especially my face. The Lavender Essential Oil Roll On has been a godsend this past week! Generally lavender isn’t a scent I enjoy wearing (love it at the spa though!) but with a minor headache right on the edge of being full blown I wanted to see if Lavender Oil could help keep it at bay and surprisingly enough it really did. I put a dab on my wrists and my temples then got back to cleaning up the after dinner mess. Within about 10 minutes I was feeling much more relaxed and my head was feeling better.
