Police respond to report of vehicle explosion
On January 30 at approximately 7 p.m., Halifax Regional Police along with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency and EHS responded to a report of a vehicle explosion in a parking lot at 6169 Quinpool Road, Halifax.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a man, was tended to by responding firefighters and subsequently attended hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A portable propane tank inside the vehicle was determined to have contributed to the explosion. The vehicle was extensively damaged and had to be towed from the parking lot
