Emergency crews search for missing man in Beaver Bank

January 28, 2013, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Emergency crews are searching for a missing 36-year-old man in Beaver Bank.
 
At approximately 7:45 a.m., a male showed up at a residence in Beaver Bank asking for help. He stated he had crashed an off-road vehicle in the woods and that the person he was riding with, Gregory Francis Yhard, 36-years-old from Wellington, Nova Scotia, was still in the woods. The male who reported the crash has since been transported to hospital by EHS with non life threatening injuries. Halifax RCMP attended and searched the area. Halifax Regional Ground Search and Rescue are assisting with the search. The RCMP Helicopter is also on scene.
 
Police are asking anyone with information on the location of Gregory Francis Yhard to contact them immediately at (902) 244-7208 or any police agency in Nova Scotia. Yhard is described as a white male, 6’2″ and 236 pounds with balding brown hair.
