End Summer with 30 Days of Beauty

Mid-August? How did that happen???

So much has happened this summer already that I don’t even know where to start. We sold our house and are waiting to move into a rental house until our new house is built.

In the meantime, we are camping for the month of August. Yes, that’s right… we’re living in a trailer… and out of the backs of our car/closet.

Summer for us means later bedtimes, visits to the beach, wild hair… all of this relaxing and having fun can be hard on a girl. To say that I go for the “natural look” in the summer is an understatement. Around mid-August is when I’m usually ready to start thinking about getting back into a routine and investing more time in looking presentable.

See what I mean?

So I was excited to hear about Shoppers Drug Mart’s 30 Days of Beauty event. From now until September 14, 2014, marks the 4th annual 30 Days of Beauty national event at Shoppers Drug Mart. It is the biggest beauty event of the year.

Throughout the month, you can visit your local Shoppers Drug Mart to book a 5-minute make-over session. Also, check out the 30 Days of Beauty website daily to check out the tips and instructional “How To” videos in-store an online and behind the scenes videos available on youtube.ca. There will also be daily excitement in-store, including exciting 1-day only offers on all of your favourite beauty brands.

Everyone loves a GWP! An exclusive gift with purchase (GWP) is available August 23 – August 29, 2014 when you spend $75 or more on Cosmetics, Skin Care or Fragrance. This beautiful Cosmetic Pouch, filled with over 25 beauty and fragrance samples, is fabulous and free!

I don’t know about you but I’m definitely going to book a 5-minute makeover in-store and ask for my favourite 30 Days of Beauty look. I really need a little refresh to end the summer and get ready for the chaos that September brings. But for now, I’m happy to check out 30daysofbeauty.ca and enjoy what’s left of the summer.
