Who has time to plan and prep EVERY single meal? If you’re like me sometimes you just need a little something to grab on-the-go before work, in between meetings, before you head to the gym/yoga, and of course, you’d prefer it to be healthy. Luckily Second Cup has caught on to our ever on-the-go needs, and has designed a deliciously nutritious menu that offers fresh, nutrient-packed smoothies, breakfast wraps, and even overnight oats!
The Second Cup #BetterForYou original recipes incorporate more greens, fibre, whole grains, protein, important vitamins, and minerals. Look for the green #BetterForYou seal to help make it even easier for you to make smart, healthy decisions.

Overnight Oats With Chia
I wasn’t able to try the Overnight Oats that combine creamy oatmeal and crunchy chia seeds with high protein, low-fat yogurt. Available in two delicious flavours, Strawberry, and Mango, Overnight Oats are a great way to start the day. I’m super excited to try them myself.
Second Cup also recognizes that you’re rethinking your hot beverages too because we all know those calories can REALLY add up, not to mention give you a massive sugar crash before you even get through your morning.
Beyond the new menu items, it’s easy to customize your drinks to make them Better For You. To save calories without losing flavour try asking your barista for: skim milk, almond milk, or half sweet options.
Selecting one of these lighter options for milk will reduce your espresso-based beverage by an average of 40 calories, and simply foregoing whipped cream on specialty drinks can save more than 100 calories! While I would never suggest you need to give up your favourite drinks, it’s great to know options to make them #betterforyou!
I absolutely love that Second Cup is offering healthier options because let’s face it, we are all looking for convenient on-the-go options. It’s great to find quality items like high-protein high-fibre wraps, smoothies, and oats readily at your disposal when you’re just trying to make it through the day.
If you’re in a pinch be sure to keep an eye out for the #betterforyou menu items at your local Second Cup.
