RCMP release:
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) is on Boxwood Crescent in Lower Sackville responding to a situation involving a person who has barricaded themselves inside a home and may be armed.
At this time, there is no immediate threat to anyone outside the home. Officers have closed Boxwood Crescent to traffic to allow officers to do their work. Please avoid the area.
We will provide updates as we have more information.
