Eskasoni man faces drug and forgery charges, Eskasoni, N.S.

Eskasoni RCMP are investigating an incident involving the altering of a doctor's prescription. On August 24th, 2014, Eskasoni RCMP responded to a complaint from a pharmacy in Eskasoni regarding a forged prescription.

On August 24th, 2014, Eskasoni RCMP responded to a complaint from a pharmacy in Eskasoni regarding a forged prescription.

Further investigation determined a man from Eskasoni had altered a previously written prescription written for him in order to obtain an illegal quantity of medication.

As a result, a 26-year-old male from Eskasoni was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Forgery. He has been released on conditions and is to appear in Eskasoni Provincial Court on November 4th, 2014.
