Eskasoni RCMP members have charged three men with drug offences following a vehicle stop on highway 216, Islandview.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on December 1st, Eskasoni RCMP members stopped a vehicle containing three male occupants.
Following a search of the vehicle, a quantity of oxycodone, marijuana and cash were seized at the scene. As a result, the three males were charged for drug offences.
Twenty-two year-old Quentin David Poulette of Eskasoni has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance- oxycodone.
Twenty- three year-old Andrew James Alex of Eskasoni has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance- oxycodone.
Twenty-eight year-old Keith Geoffrey Denny of Eskasoni has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- marijuana.
All three men have been released on a Promise to Appear on February 24th, 2015 in Eskasoni Provincial Court to face the charges.
