The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the following beaches will have extended lifeguard supervision until 7 p.m. today only, due to warm weather:
Municipal beaches and the outdoor pools at the Halifax Common, Bedford (Shore Drive) andCole Harbour (Colby Drive) officially opened to the public on Sunday, July 1.
Daily supervision throughout the summer months at most municipal beaches and the Halifax Common outdoor pool is from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
