Facing The Scale

*Gulp*  I woke up this morning a bit anxious because I knew that I had to get on the scale and face reality. My body is majorly bloated and dehydrated. But this is what I need to do in order to stay accountable.

I may have been a little off when I said I wanted to lose 20lbs, more like 25lbs.  That will get my back to over 100 lbs lost.  After that I will assess the situation and set further goals.  I think 25 lbs is quite reasonable.  There will be no dates associated with this number, that only seems to set me up for failure.  I would be happy with a slow and steady series of losses.   If this experience has taught me anything it’s that every choice does matter and that I will have to stay on top of things for the rest of my life.

After seeing that number I needed a good dose of caffeine.

 
It is a beautiful sunny morning out there.  Too bad it’s -10°C.  You do recall this time last week it was +18°C. We have seriously messed up our environment peeps.

I wasn’t feeling anything too heavy for breakkie.  Since I’m going veggie for the next 21 days I’m making every effort to get a proper protein/carb balance with each mealWhole wheat toast w/ dark chocolate almond butter & 1/2 banana.


While I ate, I decided I should throw away some of my hard earned money. Haha!


Okay, I am giving this another shot. WW Online is the tool that I’ve had the most success with. Plus, I had to pay the $39.95 activation fee and I HATE wasting money. I will stick with this.

Breakfast was a tasty and filling 6 points. This almond butter best be available in Canada soon!

 
Okay, I’m outta here. We’ve got tons of errands to do this morning so I re-arranged my running schedule to have my long run tomorrow.  I will be back with my veggie eats later tonight.  Have a great Saturday bloggies!
