Fairview Overpass to Joseph Howe Drive – Overnight Lane Drops

Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that replacement of an overhead light pole at the ramp from the Fairview Overpass to Joseph Howe Drive will result in lane drops overnight tonight on the Fairview Overpass.

Crews will be on site from 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with the possibility of intermittent stop-and-go traffic on the Fairview Overpass, as well as on the inbound and outbound lanes of the ramp to Joseph Howe Drive.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
