Family Photo Confession

I have something to confess… we had family photos done a while back and I’m just getting around to doing something about displaying them now.

And for the record, “a while back” is about four years.

I am ashamed… a lot can happen in four years. When these photos were taken my youngest daughter was about to lose her first tooth… now she only has four baby teeth left in her mouth.

My oldest daughter was 8, a baby! Now she’s a sometimes-surly preteen.

I love these photos, why did I wait so long to display them. I showed everyone on Facebook, that’s enough, right? Wrong.

We have too many bare walls in our new home, time to fill it with memories and people we love.

Well, I finally did something about it.

I headed on over to Canvas and Decor and ordered a print for my Mom and Dad for Christmas (shhh, don’t tell)! I chose a 12×18 canvas with a mirrored gallery wrap. Look how amazing it is. Even the dogs got to be in the photo!

My Mom is going to freak!

If you want your Mom/Dad/Sister/Friend/Favourite Aunt/Neighbour/Baby Daddy or whoever to totally freak out on Christmas morning, gift them with a print of your beautiful face from Canvas and Decor. Now I have to go order some for myself!! AND get new family photos done!

If you order now, you can save 50% AND if you order two or more prints, you can save an additional 10% off your order. Ground shipping is free in Canada (except for Yukon, Nunavet and NWT which is express only).

** Disclaimer: I did receive this product in exchange for telling you about Canvas and Decor. However, the opinions expressed are my own and I am truly pleased with the quick and easy service I received from Canvas and Decor.

** These photos were taken by Wendy from Edgewood Studio.

Mommyjuiced is a blog about the everyday crazy life of a 30-something working mom who is trying to raise two relatively sane young ladies (ages 7 and 10). I live on the East Coast of Canada on one of the most beautiful islands in the world – the home of my heart, Cape Breton. My background is in public relations and marketing and I know how to tell a good story. If you are brand who wants to tell a story, email me and we’ll “talk” details. I started this blog in 2012 as a way to express myself and to let other parents know that this parenthood gig is hard, but we’re all in it together. So don’t take everything I post seriously, sometimes I make s*&% up. True story. But what I am not making up is the fact that I love my kids and family and am thankful that you stopped by to read my blog. I don’t ALWAYS drink wine… but when I do, I’m awesome (or at least I think so)! “Seriously, I love you. You are doing more for the mental health of other mothers than the makers of Prozac!” - Suzanne, mother of 5 (yes 5 kids!) Email me at jodymacarthur at eastlink dot ca if you want more info.
