Fares for Firearms Gun Amnesty Campaign results to be released

Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality Public Safety Office and its Partners in Policing are inviting members of the media to a photo opportunity with respect to the recently concluded Fares for Firearms Gun Amnesty Campaign.

When:                 Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, 2 p.m.

Where:                Halifax Regional Police and Halifax District RCMP Headquarters – Lunch Room

                           1975 Gottingen Street, Halifax

Representatives of the Halifax Regional Municipality Public Safety Office, Halifax Regional Police, and the Halifax District RCMP will be available to answer questions in relation to the gun amnesty campaign.

A sample of firearms turned in to police during the two-week campaign will also be on display.
