FASHION Magazine’s Toronto Fashion Week Awards are the official closing fete for World MasterCard Fashion Week and serve to recognize Canadian designers, models and beauty professionals whose dedicated efforts make the Toronto shows possible.
Friday’s event will feature a special performance by singer/songwriter Kai, who has been featured on tracks with Skrillex and Diplo, guest DJ Avenue, whose latest single features Tokyo Police Club, an open bar, swag bags and more.
This is by far one of the events that I look forward to the most for fashion week. It’s really kind of neat to hang out in the same room as the designers in such a fun causal manner. Everything is done for the week, so everyone is in celebration mode: it’s really an event not to be missed.
