So far in the month of June, the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 134 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
From June 1 to 7, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 134 summary offence tickets: 14 for speeding, 24 for no insurance, 32 for using a cell phone while driving, and 64 for other offences including bald tires, tinted windows, passing school busses with stop lights on, and invalid safety inspections.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
