Fatal car crash in Cole Harbour

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Cole Harbour Rd. in Cole Harbour.

On April 11, 2022 at approximately 10:45 p.m., Halifax District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a single vehicle crash on Cole Harbour Rd. in Cole Harbour. RCMP learned that a car had been travelling east on Cole Harbour Rd. when it left the roadway and came to rest against some trees.

The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 29-year-old Cole Harbour man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

A section of Cole Harbour Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
