Prior to 10:30 p.m. last evening, Yarmouth Rural RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 103 in Belleville North. A 2009 Toyota Corolla left the highway and struck a tree.
The collision claimed the life of a 57-year-old man from Clarks Harbour. The passenger, a woman from Clarks Harbour, was transported by EHS to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An RCMP collision analyst attended the scene to collect evidence. The investigation is continuing.
