Fatal collision in Fall River

At 3:25 p.m. on September 20, a fatal collision occurred between a small car and a dump truck. The car had been travelling from Holland Rd., when a collision occurred between it and a dump truck that had been heading North on Hwy. 2.

Another motorist gave medical assistance to the driver of the car, however, the driver, a 51-year-old woman from Lower Sackville, died at the scene.

An RCMP Collision Analyst was called to examine the scene, and Hwy. 2 was closed in the area until shortly before midnight. It has since re-opened. The investigation is ongoing.
