On September 19 at 1:30 p.m. Inverness District RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation determined the SUV had stopped on Highway 105 near Waycobah, making a left turn, when the motorcycle collided into the back of the SUV.
There were two people on the motorcycle at the time of the crash and both were transported to hospital with injuries. The driver of the motorcycle, a 65-year-old Margaree Valley man passed away later in the day from his injuries in hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
