Fatal collision in Yarmouth

Just before 2 p.m., a car collided with a snow plow on Hwy. 3 near the Yarmouth Airport. The driver, an 82-year-old woman from Belleville, died at the scene. The driver of the snow plow was not injured.

Hwy. 3 is closed in the area and will remain closed for several hours while an RCMP Collision Analyst examines the scene for evidence. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
