Yarmouth Rural RCMP is on the scene of a fatal collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Cape Forchu.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. this evening Yarmouth Rural RCMP, Emergency Health Services and Yarmouth Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision in Highway 304 Cape Forchu.
Preliminary investigation determined a motorcycle with two riders collided with a car. Both riders were thrown from the motorcycle. The male driver of the motorcycle died at the scene and the female passenger was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the car were not injured. All persons involved in the collision are from Yarmouth County.
The cause of the crash is under investigation with assistance from an RCMP traffic analyst.
