An 18-year-old man from Hammonds Plains has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death.

These charges are a result of an investigation in to a fatal motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 17-year-old male on October 13, 2017 on Rochester Dr. in Hammonds Plains.

He is also facing charges under the Motor Vehicle Act for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Liability Insurance and Operating an Unregistered Vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court later this month.
