Meteghan RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Patrice Rd. in Concession.

On September 19, 2022, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Meteghan RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Patrice Rd. in Concession. RCMP officers learned that a white Mitsubishi Lancer and a grey Ford Focus had been travelling on Patrice Rd. when they collided.

The driver, and sole occupant, of the grey Ford Focus, a 44-year-old Concession man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver, and sole occupant, of the red Mitsubishi Lancer, a 31-year-old Alberta man, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital via ambulance.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Patrice Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
