Fatal house fire claims third victim

The 18-year-old man who was transported to the QEII Health Sciences Centre with life-threatening injuries from Saturday’s fatal house fire passed away yesterday afternoon.

At 2:34 a.m. on Saturday, Halifax District RCMP, Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency (HRFE), and EHS responded to a 911 call of a duplex on fire on Leaside Dr. in Lower Sackville. A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and an 11-year-old girl passed away after being transported to the IWK.

Our thoughts are with the victims family during this very difficult time.
